The multi panel melt coat sculpture was a maquette given to George Bunshaft from Harry Bertoia as a gift. He commissioned Bertoia to create his now famous screen for the Manufacturers Hanover Bank at 43rd and 5th Ave. One of Bertoia’s earliest commissions.
