A Bronze Fountain Maquette by Edgar Britton
Acclaimed Colorado sculptor Edgar Britton (1901-82) completed a monumental bronze fountain in the 1950's, composed of a series of lilypad-like protrusions, water would flow naturally from the top downwards. The fountain was executed near picture perfect to the maquette, displaying his mastery over his chosen materials. Mounted to a panel of polished black marble.
