Faux Tortoiseshell Coffee Table
Originally designed by Isabel barringer
and Theodore mueller for Kittenger in
1948, this AID award winning table features
a stacked lacquered base, with extremely
thick gilt top. Typically oulined in black
or red lacquer, the petal design is here
executed with a faux tortoiseshell or
oildrop finish. The entire table is beautifully
aged with overall crazing to the lacquered
gilding and fully intact. 14" H 48
