Gentlemans Chest
Fantastic
Gentlemans Chest by Gibbings. The case
is framed in tapering carved cylinders,
typical of Gibbings 1950's style. Two
sliding doors with recessed brass pulls,
conceal a variety of drawers, the uppermost
signed with a silk fabric label. The whole
cabinet is refinished in a very dark mahogany
stain, nearly ebonized under normal lighting.
Excellent refinished condition. 43"
