Very
early chest by Dunbar, before the famous
Edward Wormley period, ca 1948. Bleached
mahogany cabinet with 5 drawers, and a
large storage area with 2 shelves. Distinctive
styling with mild Chinese influence on
the legs, cylindrical handle for accordion
doors, and matching segmented handles
on each drawers. Top drawers has a carved
caddy for change, cufflinks etc. Fully
refinished in excellent condition. Back
panel branded DUNBAR 4493. 39.5"
